We are looking for an experienced Regional Sales Manager. Successful candidate will be accountable for the achievement of regional volume forecast, broker execution goals, end user(restaurant) calls and selling expense management. The Regional Sales Manager position is responsible for maintaining customer relationships, monitoring broker progress, and overseeing distributor activity within a defined territory.
This position is remote and assigned territory is Maryland and Virginia. Must be able to travel domestically a minimum of 50%.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for proactively managing, monitoring, evaluating, and holding the accountability for the overall business plan to meet all volume, profit and share objective.
  • Primary focus is to (a) Achievement of sales objectives and specific volume goals through regional broker team management, (b) manage relationship with customers, brokers, and internal resources.
  • Lead the broker sales team within the assigned territory/accounts.
  • Develop broker sales plan.
  • Negotiate distributor marketing plans on an annual basis.
  • Work closely cross functionally to produce timely business updates for senior leadership
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications & Education Requirements

  • Overall confidence in one’s abilities and comfortable communicating with others
  • Creative and inquisitive
  • Integrity-Does the right thing even when no one is looking
  • Dependable team-player with a positive attitude
  • Documented history of making improvements in assigned work area/responsibilities
  • Skilled at building relationships with key customers, brokers, and internal cross functional teams.
  • One year or more of Foodservice experience preferred
  • BA/BS degree preferred but not required
  • Computer literacy: proficient in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
